15 years ago, Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero starred together in a film so awful many consider it to be the worst thing ever to be put to celluloid. Of course I’m talking about 2003’s The Room.
Well, Wiseau and Sestero are now at it again. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pair have teamed up for a new film called Best F(r)iends. Sestero wrote the story himself, which stars Wisaeu as a “lonely mortician” who takes Sestero’s character on “a wild journey.”
The film was quietly shot in Los Angeles over the summer with Gary Fong serving as the director. They’re hoping for a theatrical release in the near future; as they work out the details, they’ve shared the film’s first trailer.
